Hi, I’m Laura Holland, founder of More Than Movement and a personal trainer specialising in women’s health and fitness.
I created my signature Solfit workouts for busy women who want to get fit during pregnancy, postnatal and beyond, but feel like they lack the time and energy to do so.
After working with hundreds of women over 10 years, and becoming a mum myself, it became clear to me that women need way more than your average fitness class to really feel good about themselves.
I truly believe that taking care of your fitness and wellbeing can make you happier, more energised, and able to deal with whatever life throws at you. My programs empower women through exercise but also help with nutrition, stress levels, sleep, hormones, and common pregnancy and postnatal problems like abdominal separation and pelvic floor weakness.
Personally I found my pregnancy and birthing experience straight-forward, but no one prepared me for what comes afterwards. At that time I was ‘just’ a personal trainer. Despite knowing a lot about the human body, I needed more education to learn how to really help women at this stage of their lives and beyond.
I qualified in pre and postnatal fitness, then took advance qualifications with women’s wellness leaders, Burrell Education. Thanks to their method, the results I see in women – inside and out – are amazing. It would be great to welcome you to the More Than Movement Tribe!
